Let’s take a tour through a few of my many, many open tabs…
Nine Bad Arguments for Attending That Wedding. I have been there. I have sometimes made the wrong call. I would encourage you to take seriously the thought that we can support a couple without going to their wedding. It’s not about cutting ties completely — not at all. It’s about being a good friend and family member and also having integrity. Believe me, your integrity matters.
IVF doings: If things are in chaos at Yale New Haven Hospital’s Fertility Clinic, it’s an unredeemably chaotic enterprise, as anyone with a shred of moral understanding could have told you it would be: I had a DNA test for medical reasons - the sickening discoveries that came next left my family in disbelief and changed my life forever. Sure, The Daily Mail is a sensationalist rag. A local paper: But these stories are happening everywhere, all the time. As I keep saying, IVF is a dystopian fraud. There is no way to regulate it. I’m not sure what it will take to convince people to step away.
What can sacred art look like? The past can teach us how taste and preference can be filtered through tradition to produce an authentic “semantic” or form, suitable for sacred spaces. People have their likes and dislikes, but there has to be a certain basic sacredness, which means a formal aspect, a stylization even when leaning into naturalism, universal symbolism. I have written about this here. Not every expression will be embraced by everyone, but within those strictures, multiplicity is glory! I love the Latin American Baroque style and finally got my own painting of the Madonna and Child, complete with a beautiful gold handmade frame. I recommend this article if you would like to know more about this genre:
Are vaccines placebo tested? See this post by Aaron Siri (I updated this post to include this info):
On autism and its causes, we need to proceed with caution. Here is a warning about The CDC, Vaccines and Autism and the rather naive idea that the CDC is going to investigate itself. The danger is that normal variations in childhood behavior will all be chalked up to some elastic definition of autism, which will then hide the very real damage done, most likely by the direct injection of aluminum and mercury into the body in the form of adjuvants for vaccines:
I am confident that any study looking to investigate a link between vaccination and all forms of autism will, unfortunately, prove the null hypothesis (and the CDC/Pharma know this). Perhaps, at best, it will reveal a weak association, something easily ignored, something that will support the status quo and be used ad nauseum to prevent future studies.
It is imperative that the new Secretary and new head of the NIH do not let this happen. RFK Jr, the Government, must not be directly behind any study into vaccination and autism but he should use his power to make all available data freely and transparently accessible while Bhattacharya should invite interested scientists to apply for NIH grants to undertake this epoch defining study.
I wrote a while back that autism is a fluid quasi-diagnosis and when it comes to vaccines, one should instead think of seizures, neurological damage, and then it becomes clear.
If instead we asked “do the shots track with an increase in both temporary and persistent neurological damage,” then the answer is undeniably yes. Children’s hospitals treat, keep records, and make reports of just such sorts of vaccine harm presenting in their wards on a monthly basis. They get money from the taxpayer (you) to mitigate the damage — there is a fund set up for this purpose.
We need to detox from the poisons in our food, but much more importantly, we need to detox from the pervasiveness of porn in our daily lives. Even those who consider themselves porn-free are confronted with images everywhere, lyrics in songs, scenes in mainstream movies and shows. If adults are affected (and we are), what about children? This is a terrible environment to raise them in. Fr. Pokorsky is adamant: Changing the World with Pure (or Impure) Thoughts

How about this:
I love the Madonna and Child painting! Thank you for linking your article on Ratzinger and Sacred Art. I had forgotten that he wrote about it in The Spirit of the Liturgy.
