also an apology for promoting the vaccination that really wasnt good for much of anything and had large negative side effects would be cool before jumping to the next thing promoted by davos. its beyond parody at this point.
The insanity never ends from the Vatican “posse!” Why can’t they just focus on the Faith as Christ handed down to his apostles? Stay out of things you have no clue about.
I really like William Briggs’ writing. He writes with authority as one who knows what he’s talking about and does it with clarity and very often humor.
Great post, Leila. And yes I think you are on to something about the supernatural forces at play with a lot of this. Maybe the macrobes or dark eldila from That Hideous Strength!
One thing about the use of models - like most other tools they can be used for good but more often than not they can be manipulated to serve a (sinister) purpose. I think there is a temptation to develop really complex and esoteric models that the average person would not understand. The marxists use this to their advantage and make it so us poor dumb uneducated morons could not possibly understand. And so we get back to people throwing up their hands and saying “well shucks, I guess the experts know what they are talking about. I’m sure they have our best interests in mind.”
Geologists or meteorologists who deny that burning fossil fuels destroys the climate get fired for the same reason doctors who deny the existence of bacteria get fired; they are bad at their jobs. Briggs assertions are never supported by evidence and should never be believed.
More seriously, which ‘freedom’ are you losing? Every conservative tells me that liberals are taking away ‘freedom’ but somehow can’t show me what they will be prohibited from doing?
Okay. It might take me a couple of days to find any scientist who actually lost a job for her opinions at all, but I will provide you this information.
What science measures is the effect of carbon emissions on climate. It is indisputable that 1) carbon emissions warm the planet, 2) human activities emit carbon and 3) industrialization has rapidly accelerated the rate of such emissions. To deny those base realities and ignore dramatic increases in extreme weather conditions worldwide that jeopardize human life in ways that are both immediate and long term is the antithesis of being "pro-Life."
You draw conclusions without actually showing proof, though. Okay. Carbon emissions warm the planet. But you know historically, humans tend to thrive in high C02 environments, right? You know that we've had periods of much higher C02 concentrations, right? You know that, statistically, extreme weather conditions are not increasing, right? I know St. Greta of Thunberg is a very emotionally effective spokesperson, but nothing in your comment is reconcilable with historical fact (not just bumper-sticker politics from the last 30 years). Go look at both actual and proxy temperature and C02 data and then revisit your statements. I would end with, what is so "pro-life" about denying millions of people in the developing world access to cheap energy? Why do you insist they burn animal dung to heat their food? Why can't they enjoy electricity and clean water? Why do you hate them so much?? See how this works?

Which totally supports my theory that there is some supernatural, and by that I don't mean good, force behind all of this will-to-power
preternatural is perhaps the word you are looking for.
That's a better word but maybe I just mean diabolical.
How do we or can we even commend this authority to others with integrity?

Why don't you present evidence of your claims!
What ‘freedom’ are you losing? I’ll be happy to provide evidence of my claim but I want an answer to my question first.
No, if you are going to troll me, you go first
