Thank you for this! On the topic of research, this very funny article is the transcript of an actual “argument” with chatGPT about whether Alex Jones was right about “gay frogs”. The article shows the bias of AI but also the incredible sophistication of AI in counter-arguing using scientific research to maintain that bias. Spoiler: ultimately chatGPT is “forced” to conclude Alex Jones’s conclusion is correct, but it is very thought provoking about the future of research, AI and our capacity to lead an investigation - https://open.substack.com/pub/honestattemptct/p/chatgpt-agrees-with-alex-jones-that?utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web

Completely agree. The UK doesn’t currently include the varicella vaccine in its recommended schedule, but lots of people are pushing for it to be added. Sadly it looks like the government will cave to popular demand soon.

Re: reading medication package inserts.

Until very, very recently, the package insert for the Covid jabs was literally a (giant) blank sheet of paper, folded many times into those little 1”x2” rectangles.

Well technically not blank.

They printed “Intentionally Blank” on them.

This went on for so long that I was genuinely surprised when the insert for the Moderna Spikevax (not trying to hide it anymore, are they?) that arrived in May actually had prescribing information on it.

Yes, that was incredible, wasn't it? (Wait, is it really called Spikevax??)

But the inserts have always been available for childhood shots and that's what I'm talking about here.
