I haven’t listened yet, but our public library has a “interactive” display on the “mental load” in the teen section right now, presumably for Mother’s Day. I never go through that part of the library but I left our Shakespeare at home! Haha! It’s entitled “Invisible Labor” with a Picasso-esque tragic blue woman. You’re supposed to put a sticker on who pays bills, buys gifts, plan meals, and makes rules. The options are Mom, Dad, or Other. Of course Mom has 2x the stickers as Dad across all categories. Curiously, in our household, Dad pays bills and the buck stops with him on making rules!
