If the feminist ideal were as gloomy as the author suggests, the ranks of woman completing universities and graduate degrees and entering fields once dominated by men would be shrinking, not growing. Ditto with the fertility rate. All revolutions involve struggle and time to reach a "new normal." The gender equality revolution is no different. Having worked with and being related to many women who identify as feminists, I do find the ridiculous trope about equating feminism and Marxism perplexing. Not one feminist I know has ever advocated Marxism or anything approaching it.
