Thank you both for your perspectives. Especially the reminder to GYOG (grow your own garlic)…my kids can’t wait for harvest time! But it’s always a delight to listen to your conversations. It’s so edifying to listen to a husband and wife speak to each other as you do. Thank you for doing this podcast. I look forward to listening to your episodes every week.
With planting garlic, “What could go wrong?” Phil asks. Well, your cat could use the garlic bed as a litter box and dig up all you planted! 😩 Sadly, no garlic for us this year, and no tulips and daffodils except for one! All the green foliage grew but no blossoms. So, so, sad! I hope to have better success this summer.
Oh bad kitty! What on earth. I did have a few seasons when I had to put chicken wire on my early spring things because of the chickens. Maybe you’ll have to do that. My cat can be mischievous but so far has not upset the bulbs.
